Black Darong magic beads from Burmese Buddhist temples.
The age is unknown, but it is estimated to be from the 19th-20th century.
It was already encased and set in a copper ring setting in Burma.
These black alloy magic beads are vastly different from the commonly seen gold and silver Darong magic beads.
They strongly resemble level 3 Leklai, a type of natural mineral.
In fact, like the Metta Physica alloy sacred items from Thailand,
they are special alloys smelted from over a dozen metals.
Many Buddhist sacred items in Thailand are inherited from Burma.
This black Darong alloy, upon its transmission to Thailand, became Metta Physica alloy.
Due to different inherited alloy formulas,
the black alloys also exhibit variations in depth of color and light refraction.
Small magic beads from Burma, like these, are most commonly set into rings for everyday wear by ordinary people.
Possessing an extremely strong magnetic field, they can suppress extremely yin entities such as ghosts and evil spirits.
They are excellent sacred items for protection, warding, and good fortune.
As for the efficacy of black Darong magic beads...

specifically brought a batch (50-60 beads) of these black Darong magic beads in 2023.
They were all sold out within just two months. It is said their primary efficacy is in averting danger.

These smaller magic beads are increasingly difficult to refine the smaller they are.
They are also retrieved by Burmese Buddhist temples from ancient stupas.

Buddhist temples would place 3-6 of these small magic beads
into very small vials.
The inside would be coated with a fragrant love charm paste...
making them convenient for people to carry.
The price of one vial, converted to New Taiwan Dollar, was 800 NTD.
