Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, located in Kyushu, is a quiet town in the mountains and the place with the longest history of Japanese ceramics. The ceramics produced here are called "Arita ware". They are internationally renowned Japanese traditional crafts and the most representative ceramics in Japan. This porcelain was exported to Europe in large quantities in ancient times, and its firing process has continued in Japan. To this day, Arita ware is characterized by its light, thin, hand-painted dyed blue and white flowers mostly with blue flowers on a white background. Because it was exported to foreign countries in large quantities a hundred years ago, there is also the Imari style that combines the gorgeous style of European palaces.
