Mini fan-shaped, red

Original vessels created by ceramic artist Morishita Shingo. The lid was created by woodworker Yasushi Shimizu to fit the container. With this combination, a new "lidded container" was created. What we would like to introduce to you this time is a lidded incense holder. This is a fan-shaped vessel with a striking red color. When you open the lid, the inside is also red. I used zelkova wood to create a thin lid. Although it is small, it is a piece with a strong presence. As an object, as a vessel... So, what would you put into this piece? How do you use it? ■Material: Container/Ceramics Lid: Zelkova ■Size: Width approx. 70mm, depth approx. 45mm, height approx. 26mm *The scale in the photo is 100mm in height. *The lid has a ceramic finish. It is resistant to moisture, but if left unattended it may stain, so if moisture gets on it, wipe it off as soon as possible. Also, do not use a dish dryer, dry it in direct sunlight, or use a microwave, as these may cause cracks or warping. Also, the lid is not airtight, so it is not suitable as a storage container for items that dislike moisture.
