→ Product Introduction
This Tenmoku cup, inspired by the classic Chinese small round vessel, offers versatile use for tea ceremonies, coffee, or even a small pour of spirits. The beauty of Tenmoku lies in the ever-changing, captivating glaze colors, often revealing patterns reminiscent of rabbit fur, silken rain, oil drips, or leopard spots.
The stunning Tenmoku finish is a testament to Master Yeh's decades of dedicated research into glazes. Achieving such exquisite detail in the patterns and the overall aesthetic of the vessel requires a precise mastery of the interplay between fire, clay, and glaze.
Historically, Tenmoku teacups have been highly coveted by scholars and literati. In ancient times, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, generations of potters dedicated their lives, exhausting all their creativity, in pursuit of a perfect Tenmoku piece. Even today, with advancements in technology allowing for greater control over variables, Tenmoku remains an exceptionally challenging and elusive type of ceramic ware to master.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this piece is designed for exceptional usability. Master Yeh meticulously adjusts each creation based on years of experience, ensuring every cup is both comfortable to hold and durable.

* Most products in this design studio are purely handmade. The glaze or ash deposit on each piece will vary, which is precisely the charm of ceramic art. Therefore, once a single piece is sold out, it will not be restocked, and you won't find an identical one. If a piece you admire is purchased by someone else, we regret that you will need to choose another item from our collection. We apologize for any inconvenience. You may also contact the designer to see if a similar piece is available.
* Dimensions are measured by hand and may have a slight error of up to 0.5 cm.
* Pieces may exhibit minor marks from the crafting process, as all items are handmade or semi-handmade. These marks are inherent to the nature of handcrafted ceramics.
* During the firing process, natural variations in glaze and ash distribution may occur, which is a normal characteristic of natural glazes and emphasizes the organic nature of ceramics. If you have any questions about the product, please feel free to message us.
* Product photos are taken in a studio with adjusted lighting and environment, but no post-production editing is used. Please refer to the actual product for color accuracy, as discrepancies will not be considered defects.
