Dapeng Bay: 3952 Old Goat - named after a famous scenic spot in Taiwan, a special edition with great writing style. The pen barrel is carefully selected from golden nanmu wood, which is made from natural wood and special craftsmanship. It is dazzling and has a high-definition and bright surface treatment. High-definition highlighting is achieved by applying clear paint and polishing, which is repeated until the pores formed on the surface of the wood grain over the years are filled with clear paint, so painting is required at least dozens of times. The high-definition and high-gloss craftsmanship can make the surface smoother, provide a better feel when writing, and make the gorgeous wood grain more three-dimensional and clearly visible. The surface also makes it easier for users to maintain, without having to worry about accidentally getting ink on the wooden pen body and damaging it, but this method is more expensive. High-definition highlights and non-high-definition highlights each have their own flavor, and everyone has different tastes. Old Sheep Fountain Pen sincerely launches this, and thank you for your support. The high-definition and high-gloss craftsmanship has the same luster as the wood grain trim in a luxury car, which is reflective and feels particularly thick. Most of the products on the market are polished or waxed after turning, and there are very few with such thick treatment (natural texture, high quality shipped randomly). The pen is equipped with original Bronze parts that are then electroplated in gray chrome, a rotating airtight pen cap and a special elastic mechanism pen clip design.
The nib uses German BOCK #250 (#6) two-color steel nib, which is then professionally crafted by an old goat craftsman into a calligraphy nib that can write brush characters with distinct thicknesses. Writing has a sense of feedback, and you can write Chinese characters with more varied thicknesses, expressing your own unique taste.
Product combination gift: German SCHMIDT K2 ink absorber (without ink) + a black leather pen cover hand-sewn by a Taiwanese master (styles are shipped randomly) + 3952 Old Goat wooden pen case packaging.
Size: Pen barrel diameter 14.5mm, capped length 144mm, pen barrel including nib 127mm, pen cap diameter 14.5mm, length 64mm, total weight 45g, total length 150mm.
Hand-tuned calligraphy nib:
1. When writing calligraphy tips, it is generally recommended to dip them in ink first, let them cool for a while, and then use an ink absorber.
2. If the ink runs out when using an ink absorber, look at the angle at which you hold the tip. The left and right dots should fall on the paper at the same time. Do not write to one side. If the ink runs out again, check to see if there is any paper fiber stuck on the tip of the pen.
3. Remove the ink absorber and try to apply ink at the center of gravity.
4. Wash the pen tip first. If the iridium point is tilted to one side when writing, and if you press the tip hard, it will easily cause the iridium point to be misaligned, that is, there will be a height difference between the left and right sides, which will scratch the paper and accumulate paper scraps in the tip gap.
5. The calligraphy tip is adjusted from the EF tip to a curved tip. The thickness of the writing is determined not by pressing the tip but by the angle of holding the pen, using the curvature of the front end of the pen tip to determine the thickness. Hold the pen straighter so that the area where the pen tip touches the paper is smaller and the lines you write will be thinner. The more you hold the pen at an angle, the larger the contact area between the pen tip and the paper, and the thicker the line you write. Whether you can write thick or thin depends on your proficiency and skill.
In order to protect the environment, we will not provide paper bags. If you need to give gifts, please let us know in the remarks after placing the order. Thank you.
The pictures are for reference only. The product is a single piece. Some photos have slight color differences due to lighting angles. The actual product will prevail.
Note: Wipe and maintain the pen body and the inside of the pen cap frequently. Do not leave the pen tip facing downward for a long time.
Warm reminder: When writing, do not press the tip of the pen or write to the left or right (for right-handed people, it is recommended that the tip of the pen should point to around 10 or 11 o'clock when writing) to avoid accidentally misaligning the iridium point and causing paper scratching and ink breaking. The pen tip should be rinsed with clean water frequently to avoid ink jam and affect the writing quality.
