Cashmere, also known as "goat down," comes from goats that primarily inhabit the high altitudes of the Himalayas, over 15,000 feet. To endure the cold, they grow a soft layer of "down" in late autumn for added warmth. This down is one of the finest animal fibers, not only providing excellent insulation but also being known as "diamond fiber" due to its lightness, luster, and elasticity.
The key differences between Cashmere and regular wool are:
1. Cashmere feels lightweight and does not cause a prickly sensation.
2. The irregular curls and fineness of Cashmere create air pockets when woven into a scarf, which not only blocks external cold air but also retains body heat, making it exceptionally warm.
3. Its excellent elasticity means it resists wrinkling and quickly regains its beautiful shape after being folded.
Suitable for: Spring, Autumn, Winter, air-conditioned rooms, international travel (including snowy regions).
Please note that there may be slight color variations between photos and the actual product. Handmade dyeing may not be perfectly uniform; those who are sensitive to this should refrain from purchasing.
Precautions:
1. The material is delicate. We recommend dry cleaning or ironing at a low temperature with a cloth in between. Do not bleach or iron at high temperatures.
2. Avoid wearing with other metal jewelry or accessories simultaneously to prevent snagging.
3. The fine fibers of cashmere can occasionally snag, which is a normal occurrence with 100% Cashmere. If snagging occurs, do not cut the fibers. Gently pull them straight along the weaving direction by hand.
4. If pilling occurs, gently flick it away with your hand. Do not use a brush.
5. Photos may exhibit color differences. While handmade textures are fine, they cannot be perfectly uniform. The edges of the scarf are fluffy.
6. Products made in Nepal without added fixatives may experience slight color fading, which is a normal phenomenon.
