Karatsu Ware Kintsugi Surgical Stainless Steel Earrings Black White Mishima Pattern Traditional Craftsmanship No. 157 - Earrings & Clip-ons - Pottery Black

Product Description

This is a collaborative work with Haka Kiln, a potter based in Imari City, Saga Prefecture. These are round pottery fragments decorated with black and white Mishima patterns. While the pottery features a traditional Japanese pattern in a calm black color, it also resembles floral motifs. After applying the Mishima patterns, the kiln's artisans meticulously hand-carved each piece into a circular shape before firing. The sides of the pottery fragments are adorned with Kintsugi, so the gold accent is visible from the side, adding a touch of elegance. Please wear them as a unique accent to both casual and elegant outfits. Length: Pottery fragment: 16mm in diameter. Metal fittings: Surgical stainless steel earrings (metal fittings cannot be changed) Weight: The pottery fragments are lightweight and comfortable to wear. As these are one-of-a-kind accessories, they make an ideal gift. They are also perfect as a present for your loved ones. *You will receive the item shown in the photo. However, if it has already been sold on another site, it may be made to order. In such cases, please note that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size from the pottery fragments and natural stones shown in the photos. * "Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends broken or chipped pottery using lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique, which involves adhesive, unlike traditional methods using actual tree sap from lacquer trees. The Kintsugi parts use lacquer (a paint made by a manufacturer, not raw lacquer) and gold powder (brass powder, pearl powder), along with UV resin for reinforcement. --------------------- Gift, Present, Pottery Fragment Accessories, Aritayaki, Imariyaki, Natural Stone Accessories, One-of-a-Kind Accessories, Pottery Accessories, Natural Stones, Kintsugi, Kintsugi Accessories, Simplified Kintsugi, Modern Kintsugi, Unique Accessories, Retro, Japanese Modern, Adult Cute, SDGs, SDGs Accessories, Mother's Day, Mother's Day Gift, Small Gift, Outfit Accent, Kintsugi Jewelry, Japan Traditional Crafts, Japan Jewelry
