Lao Dan, owner of Taichung's Moqi Coffee, is a veteran designer and a social activist. Formerly a supporter of the KMT, he now identifies as a Taiwanese independence advocate with the goal of establishing Taiwan as a sovereign nation. He is widely known for his "Today Demolish Dapu, Tomorrow Demolish Government" stickers and is also the designer of the Taiwanese whale flag.
