Architects Cube encourages creative exploration of materials and forms through interaction with raw materials. Designed in 2010 by architects John Bennett and Gustavo Bonevardi, the sensory installation selects eight natural or composite materials with different touches from common building materials - maple, bakelite, cork, granite, EVA, silicone, acrylic and aluminum, and pays great attention to ensuring smooth plumb lines and regular geometric proportions during production.
John Bennett and Gustavo Bonevardi have been collaborating since 1996. They have designed architectural proposals, computer animation, graphic design and public sculpture, and have won many awards for their outstanding designs. They conceived and designed the famous work "Tribute in Light", a project in which two beams of light are projected from Menton into the sky to commemorate the September 11 attacks in the United States.
