The Simple Celadon Teaware Set is a long-selling collection from Fu Chang Kiln.
It includes a simple teapot, a tea pitcher, and two tea cups.
Perfect for those wanting to try ceramic teapots,
and also for those who enjoy a casual tea-drinking style.
Brew whenever the mood strikes,
simply add a pinch of tea leaves, pour in steaming hot water,
and watch as steam condenses on the lid, forming droplets that glisten on the transparent celadon glaze, reflecting each other.
Temporarily set aside rules and details; brewing tea with a ceramic pot is actually simple and relaxing.
As long as the heart is right and the company is right, life becomes as elegant and mellow as freshly brewed tea.

Fu Chang Kiln and Celadon
During the Song Dynasty, the most classic glaze color was celadon, primarily produced by official kilns.
The green of celadon is elegant and subtle, its shades as varied as clouds and mist, with a luster akin to jade.
Legend has it that the poet-emperor Song Huizong described this green as:
"After rain, the sky is blue as clouds break apart; fashion this color."
...................
For over 30 years, Fu Chang Kiln has quietly focused on firing celadon and monochromatic glazes,
presenting celadon glazes that are as warm as jade, as clear as ice crystals, and as smooth and delicate as congealed fat.
They exude an understated luster that is neither ostentatious nor flamboyant, but rather refined and elegant.
Paired with classic forms, comfortable wooden handles, and dot-glazing techniques,
we hope to integrate the refined celadon aesthetics, imbued with scholarly sentiment, into everyday vessels.

About Each Piece
All pottery from Fu Chang Kiln is handcrafted, and slight variations in detail are inevitable for each piece.
During the kiln firing process, unexpected elements like ash deposits or iron spots may create unique patterns,
which become the unique mark of each piece.
If you have specific requirements regarding details, please feel free to let us know.
We will provide photos for your confirmation before shipping.

About Fu Chang Kiln's Crazing
We pursue simplicity, so we deliberately create a single layer of crazing.
Visually, after seasoning, it will resemble the crackle pattern of a tea eggshell.
These patterns form as the piece cools in the kiln and will continue to change; they are not fixed.
Before seasoning, you can use your phone's light to view the general direction of the cracks.
Such cracks do not affect functionality.
With use, colors will seep into the cracks.
Black lines are called "iron wire cracks," ochre lines are "eel blood cracks," and tea-colored lines are "gold thread lines."
The varied appearance imbues each piece with vitality.
