Source: "Cha̍p-hāng Koán-kiàn" (Ten Points of View), collected by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, published in 1925. In order to promote the national cultural movement, Cai Peihuo felt that the study of Chinese was limited at that time and that Japanese was not the mother tongue of Taiwanese people. Therefore, he advocated teaching Romaji as the written language and using pinyin in the native language to guide the public to read knowledge and absorb new knowledge.
"Cha̍p-hāng Koán-kiàn" is his practice. It discusses the past and present, talks about Taiwan and the world. It is a critical prose. It is also the first officially published vernacular prose work in the history of Taiwanese literature, which has important historical significance. Literary writer: Cai Peihuo (1889-1983), a native of Beigang, Yunlin. He was a member of the Taiwan Cultural Association and the Taiwan People's Party. He later formed the Taiwan Local Autonomy Alliance and served as editor of "Taiwan Youth", "Taiwan", and "Taiwan People's Daily" 》Editor and Publisher.
During the Japanese colonial period, he devoted himself to Taiwan's democratic autonomy movement and devoted himself to petitioning for the establishment of Taiwan's parliament, publishing "Taiwan Xinmin Daily", and popularizing Taiwanese vernacular and educational promotion. He advocated that "Taiwan is the Taiwan of Taiwanese people" as the central idea of the Taiwanese national movement.
