It is a relatively recently discovered gemstone, a variety of Tiger's Eye. While it shares Tiger's Eye's color palette (such as gold, yellow, blue, red), it exhibits different wavy or swirling textures, resembling a meteorological storm. Hence, it's popularly called "Storm Stone" or "Stormy Eyestone." In the field of gem energy research, Pietersite is considered a regal gemstone, capable of unlocking potential, aiding logical analysis, enhancing communication, and dispelling negative energy.
