A delicate 4mm pearl adorns the top, while a round 7.5mm pearl supports the bottom, creating a full, gourd-like shape and a playful, snowman-like silhouette. Made with high-quality, high-luster freshwater pearls, the earrings have a warm, translucent luster and are paired with 18K gold earring posts, adding a touch of lively layering to the simple design.

✔️ Made of 18K gold, skin-friendly and hypoallergenic, suitable for long-term wear.
⚠️ Pre-order Notes: Quality and Stock Information
Since our factory produces and processes its own pearls, all pearl sizes are limited in quantity. Because pearls require time to harvest, shortages of certain sizes may occur due to sold-out stock or changes in seawater and aquaculture conditions affecting the pearl harvest. Please inquire about product availability before ordering.
Our pearls, depending on their variety, originate from two major pearl-producing regions: Japan and China. All pearls are processed and crafted in professional Chinese jewelry workshops to ensure consistent quality, exquisite craftsmanship, and the perfect presentation of the pearl's natural luster and charm.
🔹 About Pearl Origin and Variety
Japan Origin | Akoya Seawater Pearls Akoya pearls are the most representative variety of seawater pearls. They are primarily cultivated in Mie, Kumamoto, and Ehime regions of Japan, with the Seto Inland Sea coast being particularly renowned. Akoya pearls are formed from the Pinctada fucata oyster. Due to the small size of the oyster, only one pearl can be formed per shell, and it requires approximately three years of careful cultivation. Therefore, their production is relatively scarce, resulting in high quality and price. Akoya pearls are nucleated pearls with exceptional roundness and a cool, bright luster, earning them the nickname "little light bulb" in the pearl world, and making them highly sought after in the high-end jewelry industry. The surface often features a natural "orange peel" texture. If you choose the premium grade (with a Japanese certificate), it's nearly flawless and has an even brighter luster. Colors include cherry blossom pink, snow white, aurora gold, and a rare "manta rasa" color.
Chinese Origin | Freshwater Cultured Pearls: China is the world's largest producer of freshwater pearls. Freshwater pearls are mainly cultivated using large mussels such as the scallop, with a single mussel capable of producing dozens of pearls at once. In the past decade, with advancements in cultivation technology, high-quality freshwater pearls have approached Akoya grade in terms of roundness, pearl skin firmness, and luster. Although cultured without a nucleus, top-quality freshwater pearls achieve near-perfect roundness and a warm, translucent luster, making them a highly cost-effective choice for everyday wear.
Whether you choose Akoya saltwater pearls or Chinese freshwater pearls, all products are made in our professional workshops, ensuring that every piece meets jewelry-grade standards from raw materials to craftsmanship details.
📝 Pearl Buying Guide: Akoya Saltwater Pearls vs. Freshwater Pearls
Unsure whether to buy freshwater or Akoya pearls? Here's a detailed comparison:
I. Origin & Cultivation
Akoya Pearls: Saltwater cultured (mainly in Japan), using Pinctada martensii oysters. One pearl per oyster, cultivation period 3-5 years, nucleated culture. Limited production, accounting for approximately 10% of global saltwater pearl production.
Freshwater Pearls: Freshwater cultured (mainly in China), using Sailfin oysters. Multiple pearls per oyster (30-50), cultivation period 1-3 years, mostly non-nucleated (except for Edison pearls). Huge production, accounting for 95% of global production.
II. Appearance - Shape & Size
Akoya Pearls: Due to the implanted round nucleus, they have an extremely high roundness rate and perfect shape. Smaller and more delicate in size, mostly between 5-9mm; larger sizes are more valuable. Freshwater beads: Mostly naturally formed, with varied shapes (oval, flattened round, Baroque), perfectly round ones are rare. Sizes range widely, from 5-12mm or even larger.
III. Appearance - Color
Akoya: Primarily white, often with pink or cyan undertones (cool and elegant). No purple.
Freshwater beads: Rich in color; besides white, purple is a unique hue, and there are also orange-pink, etc., with a relatively warm luster.
IV. Appearance - Luster
Akoya: Extremely strong luster, sharp reflection, nicknamed "little light bulb," high-quality ones can reflect a person's face, presenting a mirror-like effect.
Freshwater beads: Soft luster, diffuse reflection, warm and smooth like silk. High-quality freshwater beads can also reach a strong luster level.
V. Physical Characteristics - Nacre and Durability
Akoya Pearls: Thinner nacre (0.15-0.55mm), more rounded, requiring careful handling to avoid abrasion.
Freshwater Pearls: Non-nucleated pearls are almost entirely composed of nacre, with a thicker nacre layer and relatively high abrasion resistance, but their luster may gradually become matte with prolonged wear.
VII. Daily Wearing Recommendations
Akoya Pearls: Suitable for those seeking ultimate luster, perfect roundness, and classic elegance. A top choice for formal occasions, weddings, business occasions, or as gifts.
Freshwater Pearls: Suitable for those seeking value for money, everyday commuting, or casual wear. If budget is limited and primarily for daily wear, high-quality freshwater pearls are an excellent choice.
