These are earrings made by connecting deadstock bells, ethnic bells, and indigo blue beads.
The bells are deadstock items. These arrived from Lhasa, Tibet.
I suspect they may have originated from China, or perhaps they were made in Tibet for the Chinese market...
You can see a tiger's face with the character "王" (King) and the character "福" (Fortune) at the top.
While modern versions can be found, these are old items with a wonderful, atmospheric wear.
They produce a pleasant, tinkling sound ♪
*Some rust is visible.
(Bell size: Height 1.5cm, Width 1.1cm, Thickness 1cm - including the metal fitting)
The small bells are components from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan. They were attached to decorative items and are also old.
The bells might shift to the back; please adjust them gently.
The indigo blue beads are antique beads known as Indopacific beads.
The origin of Indopacific beads is said to date back to the 2nd century BC.
These beads are excavated items from Indonesia. Their age is astonishing – around the 10th century, making them over 1000 years old!
These are ethnic-style earrings that you can also enjoy the sound of.
