[Artist Profile]
■Artist Statement
Based on the theme of "recognizing love," I use women as my main motif to depict the moment of "recognition" and the process of that realization. Interested in the structure of the mind since childhood, and through psychoanalytic treatment and bereavement,
I came to feel a sense of salvation and love in the act of first "recognizing" the contradictions, conflicts, and ambiguities that exist both within myself and society. In addition to introspective awareness that observes the unconscious, I also focus on concepts that are often perceived as binary oppositions within others and society.
