After so many years of making coffee, I can count the Ugandan varieties I have tasted on my hands. The source of the coffee comes from the time-honored brand "Shoucheng Shengdou". Seeing the perfect defect rate and attractive introduction, I purchased a small amount for testing. I was amazed at its beauty after drinking it!
Don’t get the stereotype that it’s unclean just because it’s “anaerobic processed”. Besides being super clean, it also has a top-notch tropical fruit flavor, with a fruity black tea aftertaste. It’s delicious when made into ice brew or espresso!
▶ Treatment plant information:
The Sipi Falls Treatment Plant, named after the famous local waterfall, Sipi Falls, is located in the Kapchorwa District in eastern Uganda, close to the majestic Mount Elgon, the volcanic feature that marks the border between Uganda and Kenya.
The processing plant is responsible for processing the red coffee berries harvested by local smallholders. The unique terroir conditions, the rigorous screening of red berries and the post-processing process make the coffee extremely dynamic in flavor. The clean and bright taste is a major feature of the coffee here, and it has also stood out and won awards in international bidding competitions many times.
