Handwoven Wool Cotton Long Stole - From Wuthering Heights - Heath's Hill

This wool stole (warp is cotton) is handwoven with the image of the heather-covered hills from Emily Brontë's novel, Wuthering Heights. We've woven in the intense passion and complex spirit of the protagonist, Heathcliff, as well as the heather flowers and nature that bloom strongly and resiliently each year, rooted in that desolate land. The weft incorporates merino wool, mohair, and decorative yarns. The parts that touch your skin are primarily merino wool. Dimensions are approximately 34cm in width and 204cm in length (including approximately 5cm fringe and 2cm side fringe). It weighs a light 159g, creating a soft and airy feel. We blend numerous yarns to create colors, and after weaving, we always felt the fabric (thoroughly washing to remove dirt and soften the texture). Because of this process, the width is not perfectly uniform. There may be variations of about 33cm to 35cm, but we hope you will enjoy this characteristic of a handwoven stole. Gently swish or press the item in water or lukewarm water (0-30°C) mixed with a "neutral detergent" (such as Acron or Emal, designed for delicate clothing). Rinse gently twice, remove excess water with a towel, reshape, and dry in the shade (entire process takes about 2-3 minutes).
