This is a system planner that opens with a hinge made from leather and thread. It is in Bible size (Personal size, with 6-hole paper measuring 170x95mm). The distinctive leather hinge is made using a unique, self-researched technique. It involves intricate cutting and shaping, followed by meticulous hand-carving of each tooth to adjust the interlocking fit. The advantages of this hinge extend beyond its unique appearance. It opens flat, preventing the planner from closing on its own due to creasing. The repeated bending at the opening and closing points will not lead to premature deterioration. The material is a thick, undyed leather (2mm thick), cowhide tanned with vegetable tannins, which is said to age beautifully. The glossy surface is characteristic of aniline-dyed leather. Bible size is the most popular size, offering a particularly wide variety of commercially available refills. The ring diameter is 15mm, making it convenient to use with approximately 100 sheets of dedicated paper. To ensure it's ready to use immediately for beginners, and to avoid waste for experienced users, we've included 50 sheets of my personal favorite "St-Etienne Memoire Refill SBBRF-G-01" 5mm grid paper. For maintenance, use a delicate cream sparingly. As this item does not experience the same stress as bags or shoes, the natural oils from your hands are often sufficient. It's actually best to be cautious about over-applying leather creams or oils. The metal rings are designed with screws for easy replacement should they ever break.
