This is one of the finest man made sapphires that I have had the privilege to purchase. The color is as shown a very nice rich convincing navy blue without being too dark nor too light. Stone is lab grown, meaning it was created in conditions made to perfectly mimic the natural formation of the stone. Lab grown stones are not synthetic. Great step cut with nice flashes of color. A true navy blue. The first image shows of the most accurate and honest color representation. In trying to capture the true color and brilliance I have to use different lights that is why you have some variations in hues. Great cut and brilliance.
