Original vessels created by ceramic artist Morishita Shingo.
The lid was created by woodworker Yasushi Shimizu to fit the container.
With this combination, a new "lidded container" was created.
The body of the vessel was designed with a handle using the ceramic technique Inka. The base is baked brown with a light beige base and a touch of red and blue.
The red and blue colours are used as accents, creating a warm atmosphere overall.
The lid is made of dark walnut and has grooves carved into it that seem to spiral up to the top, creating a soft form like the foam of beer overflowing from a mug.
It is a long, vertical vessel with a handle and a soft, flowing lid.
This is a lidded container with an atmosphere that is hard to describe.
So, what would you put in this?
