🌸 The Synonym for Japanese Ceramics
The Hometown of Maneki-neko -- Seto Ware
✨ Seto Ware is the collective name for ceramics produced in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. Originating in the Kamakura period, it is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, boasting a 1300-year history. In 1977, Seto Ware was designated as a Japanese Traditional Craft by the Japanese government, and in 2017, it was listed as a "Japan Heritage" site. Furthermore, it was the first place to produce glazed pottery and ceramic Maneki-neko, earning it the title of the "Hometown of Maneki-neko." In Japanese, "Setomono" is even synonymous with ceramics, highlighting its widespread recognition and representative status.

※Important: The Maneki-neko inside the gift box is protected by closely fitted styrofoam. When removing the Maneki-neko, please place it on a soft surface and slowly tilt it to pour out. While pouring, support the Maneki-neko with your hand and gently bring it upright. Do not grasp the protruding part of the smaller Maneki-neko to pull it out, as this may cause it to detach.
