It not only allowed me to rediscover the savor of living well but also to witness the ancient capital's dedication to and innovation in traditional culture and craftsmanship. What captured my heart at first sight were the *gamaguchi* purses crafted by a kimono artisan. Mr. Nakamura, a man of humble demeanor and gentle grace, has retired from the world of kimono making. However, he continues to create *gamaguchi* purses designed with kimono fabrics he has cherished his entire life. ◾️【Premium Kimono Tsumugi Series】 The spirit of a lifetime's dedication is fully expressed in the details and material selection. This piece features Kyoto's exquisite craft, *Kanoko Shibori* tie-dyeing. Named for its resemblance to the patterns on a fawn, this hand-dyeing process is exceptionally complex and refined, resulting in truly unique colors and patterns. However, after bringing it home and using it, I truly understood its value. With every opening and closing, I can't help but marvel, growing more fond of it the longer I look.
