We have always admired traditional crafts and wish for modern individuals to appreciate and understand the skills of the past. Our aim is to preserve traditional techniques while incorporating contemporary colors and new designs (which can be paired with our second style of drawstring bag) to enhance and beautify the products. The style of these mesh bags isn't entirely new; they existed twenty to thirty years ago. During our visit, they shared that in the past, they used a type of thin plastic tubing to weave these mesh bags (referred to as "plastic bags" back then). They were only children, from their early teens, and would earn pocket money by weaving mesh bags for others when they weren't fishing. Besides fishing nets, this weaving technique was also used to create bags for everyday items. Even today, residents of Sai Wan still use these handmade mesh bags, which are sturdy enough to carry a few six-packs of beverages. / About the Premium Full Linen Dual-Purpose Drawstring Bag with Gold/Silver Embroidery / The dual-purpose drawstring bag features detachable straps. When attached, the straps allow for single-shoulder wear or can be adjusted for crossbody style. When the straps are removed, it easily functions as a convenient drawstring backpack. We've selected 100% premium linen for a wonderfully comfortable feel, and it includes an inner pocket for small items. Additionally, both the small and large sizes of the drawstring bag are designed to be used in conjunction with the mesh bag.
