Underwater wine glass - Bar Glasses & Drinkware - Glass Red

Product Description

I worked on making it as the third Burgundy type wine glass. The first and second editions were traditional patterns, so this third edition aimed at a design that emphasizes originality without relying on traditional patterns. Also so that the color of the wine looks good ・ To be able to see through as a whole ・ Let's make the inside completely clear by rubbing the side of the wine glass round instead of seeing through with a cut. I started the idea. At first, I was thinking based on a design in which circles were arranged regularly, but I thought, "I think there is such a design, and anyone can think of unifying the whole with one design, which is a bit too short-circuited." I thought I'd rub only half of it in a circle. I divided the whole into 24 equal parts and started marking the position of the circles, but at this time it seemed that the bubbles were climbing up, so I stopped arranging them evenly and the circles went diagonally upward. The design is asymmetrical with three consecutive shapes. Also, I wanted to express the feeling of aquatic plants and imagine the sea, so I cut the aquatic plants with the image of a plant with knots. Even in this aquatic plant, it is cut 10 ° wider than the normal cut, and it is cut while increasing the transparent area. In addition, the round foam part looks cute as a facet, and the design with a feminine impression and the creator himself feels. It's a rare design because of the design trends I've made so far. Even when drinking wine etc., the cut reflected on the water surface will jump into your eyes and entertain you as shown in the picture below. Please try the underwater wine glass that you will be drawn to the more you see it. The Kiriko of our workshop is polished using the traditional method of Edo Kiriko, "hand polishing", which maintains the strength of the glass and finishes it with high quality. On the other hand, there are some things in the world that polish the glass while immersing it in an acid called "acid polishing" and melting the entire glass into pieces. Acid-polished ones have the disadvantages of being easily scratched and the color may fade, but since the man-hours can be reduced and the price can be sold at a low price, sales will improve, so many workshops and writers perform acid-polishing. We are here. Since the cut surface of our workshop is polished one by one, the original strength of the glass is not lost, and you can wash it with a detergent or scrubbing brush. Please note that boiling water, microwave ovens and dishwashers cannot be used like any other glassware. The handling method is explained in detail on the homepage of the workshop.
