CEO: 3952 Old Goat - A classic, enduring export model. Meticulously crafted from pieces of abalone shell, each carefully selected and joined to showcase its natural grain and color. After manual polishing, these are affixed to a brass tube and coated with a thick layer of transparent lacquer. While the seams are visible, they are imperceptible to the touch, creating a pen barrel with captivating natural patterns. (Natural grain patterns vary; shipped randomly). Multiple layers of chestnut-colored natural lacquer are applied over this foundation. After polishing and finishing, it achieves a visual effect as if veiled in a delicate mist. The cap and fittings are finished in a gunmetal grey, electroplated hue, featuring an airtight seal and a flame-pattern engraving. The pen also boasts a special spring-loaded clip design. Ancient Chinese lore believed that when a tiger died, its spirit transformed into stone, hence the name "tiger's soul" (虎魄), later evolving into "amber" (琥珀). Amber is fossilized resin from trees of the pine family. Its transparent, crystal-like state and agate-like colors have been admired since the Neolithic period. Amber, used to craft various ornaments, has been a cherished gemstone throughout history. The nib is a German Bock #250 (#6) two-tone steel nib, hand-ground and adjusted by Old Goat artisans into a specialty "knife-edge" (鑲黃刀) nib.
