Fill a basin with an appropriate amount of laundry powder and dissolve it in slightly warm water. Lay the scarf flat in the basin and gently press it up and down with both hands about twenty to thirty times. This allows the detergent solution to pass through the gaps in the fiber, preventing the fibers from tangling. 2. Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean. 3. Gently squeeze out excess water. To dry, lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack and allow it to air dry in a shaded area. Exposure to UV rays can cause wool to yellow.
