Two brothers, David and Kenny Khym, immigrated to the United States from Incheon, South Korea, in 1977.
In 1991, they set up a wholesale company called Wicked Fashions to import clothing from Pakistan. David, Khym has named the new clothing brand Southpole in honor of the recent Korean expedition that became the country's first to reach the South Pole. Southpole successfully offers styles similar to other popular urban brands such as FUBU.
