**Newfoundland Wolf**
Once inhabiting Newfoundland, an island off the eastern coast of Canada, the Newfoundland Wolf was the first wolf species in North America to go extinct. Adult Newfoundland Wolves were massive, reaching up to two meters in length and weighing around 70 kilograms. With their pure white fur, they were known as the "dream wolf."
In the early 19th century, after British colonists eradicated the Beothuk people, the island's indigenous inhabitants, they offered a bounty of five British pounds per wolf to protect the caribou from predation. Besides hunting with firearms, people poisoned the wolves by injecting strychnine into horse carcasses, luring the Newfoundland Wolves to consume them. This led to the poisoning of countless wolves and also affected other carnivorous wildlife.
The last Newfoundland Wolf was shot in 1911, while across the sea in Britain, people were cheering the launch of the "dream ship," the Titanic.
**IUCN Status: Extinct (EX)**

Q: What is ironing embroidery?
Ironing embroidery has an adhesive backing, allowing it to be ironed onto clothing, canvas bags, hats, and more. Follow these steps:
1. Remove the green clay backing used for fixation.
2. Place the ironing embroidery in the desired position. Cover it with a cloth about the thickness of a handkerchief to prevent damage to the embroidery and garment from high heat.
3. Set your iron to the highest temperature and press down for at least 30 seconds, ensuring the edges adhere completely to the surface.
4. Allow the ironing embroidery to cool before use.
*Do not use a steam iron.
*Do not iron onto nylon, silk, waterproof materials, sweaters, or down-filled clothing.
*Do not allow children to operate this product unsupervised.
