This leather dog leash is entirely handmade from 3.6 mm (9oz) vegetable tanned bridle leather produced by Italian tannery - Conceria MPG. It has a rich dark brown color, beautiful smooth grain and comes from only the best part of the cowhide. The reliable swivel snap is made of quality solid brass and the leash is hand-stitched with Ritza Tiger polyester thread. It's very strong and the best all around leathercraft thread on the market today. The edges are dyed & burnished, so they become smooth and round for more comfort and durability. Every leash is made by hand and one at a time, so that you can be sure it will be in service for many years given correct care. Vegetable tanned leather develop a beautiful patina the more they are used and the more they are exposed to the natural elements such as sunlight. This leather displays natural characteristics, small marks such as scars or insect bites and slight variations in the shade of the leather.
