Natural Moss Jade Aesthetics – Leisurely

The relaxed and comfortable sitting posture of this Bodhisattva embodies a spirit of calmness, open-mindedness and freedom. This design combines natural landscapes, as if recreating the moment when the Bodhisattva is leisurely and contented in quiet and peaceful conditions, symbolizing the wisdom of living freely and within the rules. Suitable for those who pursue inner peace and spiritual openness, this work not only has a decorative function, but also is a symbol of spiritual sustenance and self-cultivation.
Before Buddhism was introduced to China, the sculpture style of India's Kushan Empire or Gupta Dynasty emphasized femininity and the soft curves of the body, which was related to India's aesthetic concepts at the time. Therefore, in early Buddhist statues, Guanyin was often portrayed as full of kindness and gentleness. These characteristics later influenced early Chinese Buddhist statues, especially in Buddhist sculptures from the Northern and Southern Dynasties and the Sui and Tang Dynasties, where this emphasis on feminine curves can be seen.
Each moss jade is a testimony to a natural miracle. Its beauty comes from its uncontrollable natural generation and free growth. The plants on these moss balls, from the pteris fern to the cilantro, from the small-leaved water Linen to the maidenhair fern, each one is a masterpiece of nature, impossible to replicate and unpredictable.
