This Goshuincho (temple stamp book) features a cover adorned with a blue cat illustration.
Goshuin is a stamp given at temples and shrines after worshipping. Goshuinchou is a special blank book for keeping stamps.
Each book is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, ensuring a durable and well-finished product.
Beyond its use for Goshuin, it's also perfect as a guest book or scrapbook.
Available in a different color with the same pattern, this book can be used for the bride and groom at weddings, for example, as separate guest books.
Size: Approx. 124mm x 180mm
24 pages (single-sided use recommended)
Paper: White Hosho paper (110g/m2), double-layered with accordion fold.
This Japanese-made paper is treated to minimize ink bleed-through.
The cover paper is printed using stencil printing.
The inner pages use a thick, high-quality Hosho paper called "Mizuho Kinari,"
making it perfectly suited for receiving your treasured Goshuin stamps.
It is resistant to smudging and bleed-through.
*We recommend single-sided use as the ink condition may vary depending on the temple or shrine.

*Please note that delivery may take some time in such cases.
The cover paper is printed using stencil printing,
resulting in a retro, woodblock print-like finish.
The printing may appear slightly misaligned or faded,
but this is part of its unique texture.
Areas with multi-color printing may show more pronounced print variations.
Please enjoy these characteristics as part of its charm.
*If you are sensitive to even minor printing inconsistencies on the cover, we kindly ask you to refrain from purchasing. Print variations are inherent to this process.
The semi-water-soluble ink used may transfer if rubbed strongly.
Please handle with care.
As this book will be handled frequently,
we recommend using it with a commercially available Goshuincho cover.
