This is because the ultra-fine silver is so fine, it doesn't settle. It's not sedimentation~ If you carefully scoop it up to write, it will completely cover the color beneath. The ink is denser; if you desire a brighter hue, add a small amount of distilled or boiled water. *********** Sheen is the metallic luster that forms when the ink dries. Shading refers to the variation in ink density during writing. Chromatography is the colorful gradient that appears after the ink is applied. All ink effects are inherent and do not require external force or water manipulation. Ink Precautions: This ink is handmade, using UK-imported cosmetic-grade dyes from scratch. Please understand the characteristics of handmade inks; they may differ from commercially branded inks. If a replica is made, the color may not be an exact match. Due to limitations in replicating preservatives and additives to commercial standards, the ingredients are relatively natural. Therefore, to minimize contamination and potential mold, it is best to avoid directly filling fountain pens or using dip pens for application whenever possible. Please be aware that unboiled tap water contains invisible bacteria that, while generally harmless, can cause changes over time. If using a dip pen, ensure thorough drying after washing, or use distilled or boiled water for cleaning. ----------------------------- All inks have undergone the following tests: Resting → Filtering → Filling an F-nib fountain pen → Resting for one month. The images have been adjusted to minimize paper color influence. However, ink colors may vary due to screen settings, photography techniques, paper type, and pen nib width. Returns or exchanges based on color discrepancies are not accepted. ------------------------------ This ink contains shimmer. My handmade inks use pearl powder of 800 mesh or higher. They may not compare in shimmer intensity to other handmade inks that emphasize glitter colors. Fountain pens with F nibs or larger can be used for temporary filling. However, please refrain from using them with high-value fountain pens. All inks are made without gum arabic. If you prefer a thicker consistency, which is more convenient for dip pens, you can purchase gum arabic powder separately. However, it is common knowledge that adding shimmer to fountain pen ink carries a risk of clogging. If left unused for extended periods, please thoroughly clean the ink to prevent blockages. If you are filling a fountain pen and wish to avoid shimmer, do not shake the bottle. Simply draw ink from the upper layer. Once the ink dries, the shimmer particles may rub off. For preserved artwork, it is recommended to use a protective art sealant spray. The inks I create cannot be mixed with each other to prevent sedimentation. ----------------------------- The fragrances used in the inks are food-grade flavorings.
