"Dots up close, a photograph from afar"
This T-shirt is hand-printed using the silk-screen technique, with halftone processing applied to streetscape photographs taken by the artist. It features a visual trick where a solid collection of "dots" appears up close, and the scenery emerges when viewed from a distance. In a simple composition of a white body and black ink, it fuses the calculated beauty of digital halftones with the warmth of handmade craftsmanship. Each piece is adorned with a signature hashtag representing the identity of the location, allowing you to wear the cityscape not just as a record, but as a "memory" with Plusmaru®.

◆ About Halftone Processing:
A printing technique that expresses gradation and shading in an image by varying the "size and density of dots" using monochrome ink. It creates a visual effect where it appears as just a collection of dots up close, but emerges as a single landscape photograph when viewed from a distance.
**Tomoyuki Takahashi | Printmaker**
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1986, lives in Tokyo. After gaining experience in apparel and various design fields, he established his silk-screen technique through self-study. Based on streetscape photographs he has taken, he creates posters, T-shirts, and other works that express cityscapes not merely as records but as "memories," by fusing the calculated aesthetics of digital halftones with the analog texture of printmaking, offered through Plusmaru®.
