Rinse with cold water after removal to wash away surface blood stains. 2. Apply hand wash liquid/baking soda/mild laundry detergent to the stained area and soak in water for over three hours. The water level should be slightly above the cloth pad. (Avoid soaking in hot water, as it can set the blood stains and make them harder to remove.) 3. After the blood stains are removed, simply wash with detergent and air dry (in the bathroom or a well-ventilated indoor area; occasionally place in sunlight for disinfection). Ensure it is completely dry before storing. 4. You can soak them again in baking soda or sodium percarbonate to remove the yellowing; it does not affect usability. • For leak-proof pads, avoid wringing them dry. You can absorb excess water with a towel and then air dry to extend their lifespan. Also, avoid using soaps containing glycerin, as residue on the waterproof layer, when exposed to sunlight, may cause it to become brittle and damaged.
