It is a marquetry pierced earring.
This accessory is made of 2700-year-old Jindai zelkova excavated from the Mototaka Yuminoki Ruins in Tottori City.
At the same time, I wanted to take good care of wood, so I made it using wood from dismantled private houses and offcuts from construction sites.
Taking advantage of the texture of the wood, I made a marquetry with straight lines as a motif.
Finished with 100% natural wax blended with beeswax and plant-derived oils.
