Over time, with exposure to air and the environment, it will naturally oxidize, leading to a duller luster and a deeper metal color. This is a normal oxidation process. • If your brass jewelry oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Simply wipe with a silver polishing cloth to restore its luster. The cloth turning black is normal; do not wash it, as this will diminish its effectiveness. - Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Wipe with a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of brass polish to restore its shine. Afterward, rinse with dish soap to remove any residual polish and prevent potential allergic reactions during wear. • These preserved floral accessories are crafted from fresh flowers and can last over 5 years.
