They meticulously researched and perfected this technique. While PINT has traditionally offered woven linen items, linen knits are exceptionally rare. This piece is a long-sleeved pullover crafted from linen knit. Made from 100% linen, its knitted structure provides a novel sense of lightness and softness that gently envelops the body, diverging from the crisp, loosely-woven feel often associated with linen. The use of fine-gauge yarn results in a pleasant softness. Its double-layered construction makes it less sheer and offers a comforting, enveloping fit. Using European linen, each garment is carefully knitted in Yamagata over time. By employing single yarns—threads without twisting—the inherent characteristics of the linen fibers are amplified, showcasing a meticulous dedication to material quality from the ground up. The company's expertise, originally honed in producing knitwear for collection brands, is evident in the exceptionally high level of craftsmanship. The double-layer construction ensures it is not see-through and gently conforms to the body. While linen often evokes an image of stiffness, this is typically with woven fabrics.
