This process results in a fabric that is "light," "soft," and develops a beautifully relaxed, natural texture through "aging" rather than "deterioration." We cherish this characteristic. Because our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with our vintage machinery, we maintain rigorous quality control at our factory. We also make every effort to avoid these flaws during fabric cutting and, if found, use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, eliminating them entirely is not possible. We hope you will appreciate these weaving flaws as a testament to the unique character imparted by our antique shuttle looms, embracing them as part of the bag's charm.
