Jacquard Design Slip Dress / Skirt
Crafted from a custom-made narrow-width knit fabric of cotton and wool blend from a Japanese factory, the entire production process took nearly a year. The meticulously drawn pattern combines houndstooth with pansies, creating layered jacquard textures that showcase the lightness of cotton and a naturally draped hemline. The interplay of a large black and white base with deep purple exudes an elegant, understated charm.
The straps are detachable, allowing it to be worn as a half-skirt, catering to diverse styling needs. Each pleat is carefully hand-gathered, offering greater stability and resistance to deformation compared to machine-made alternatives. Due to limited custom material, large-scale production is not possible. The finishing process ensures a limited quantity of the final product. Please note that the white wool fibers on the surface of the floral pattern are a characteristic of the design and not a defect.
