This allows for a unique brushstroke-like charm, offering a distinct feel and superior flexibility compared to conventional calligraphy steel nibs.

Hand-adjusted Calligraphy Nib:
1. For calligraphy nibs, it is generally recommended to first dip the nib in ink and use it for a period to break it in before using a converter.
2. If you experience ink flow issues with a converter, check your writing angle. Ensure both iridium points are simultaneously touching the paper, not writing on one side. If ink flow issues persist, check for paper fibers or lint caught on the nib.
3. Try priming the pen by removing the converter and using the filling mechanism.
4. Rinse the nib with water. If the iridium points are misaligned and you write with excessive pressure, it can cause the iridium points to become offset, leading to scratching and paper accumulation in the nib slit.
5. The calligraphy nib is an EF nib modified with an arc. Line width variation is achieved not by pressing down, but by the angle at which you hold the pen, utilizing the nib's curvature to create thickness. Holding the pen more upright, with less contact area between the nib and paper, results in finer lines. The more angled your grip, the larger the contact area, producing broader strokes. The ability to write with varying line widths depends on your practice and skill.
In response to environmental protection efforts, we do not proactively provide paper bags. If you require one for gifting purposes, please specify this in the order notes after placing your order. Thank you.

Note: Regularly wipe and maintain the inside of the barrel and cap. Avoid storing the pen tip-down for extended periods.
Warm Reminder: Avoid pressing down on the nib or writing with it angled to the left or right (for right-handed individuals, it's recommended to write with the nib pointing towards the 10 or 11 o'clock position). This prevents accidental misalignment of the iridium points, which can cause scratching and ink flow issues. Rinse the nib with clean water frequently to prevent ink blockage and maintain writing quality.
