(Do not remove the converter installed in the pen barrel to prevent ink backflow into the pen body after writing). After a period of use, you can then use the converter for inking. 2. The calligraphy nib is crafted from an EF nib, ground and adjusted to have a curved tip that produces varying line widths not solely by applying pressure, but by adjusting the pen's angle. When holding the pen upright, the contact area with the paper is smaller, resulting in finer lines. As the pen angle becomes more oblique or with slight pressure, the contact area with the paper increases, producing thicker lines. The ability to write thick or thin lines depends on your proficiency. (Each nib has a certain tolerance for pressure; avoid excessive force to prevent damage or misalignment of the nib.
