Synesthesia Art Poetry Collection-The Taste of Sea Sand

Photo over here! 🥁 I would like to share with you readers the creative concept of the poetry collection "The Taste of Sea Sand": This collection of poems about synesthetic art is also, broadly speaking, a bossa nova (Bossa Nova)’s tune! Let me briefly introduce bossa nova (Portuguese: Bossa Nova). It is a kind of "new-school jazz" that combines Brazilian samba and American cool jazz. It sounds simple and light at first, but in fact it has a complex structure. Just like my poetry collection, it seems simple and easy to understand at first glance, but in fact it has a complex structure: the tone is composed of five different colors and corresponding bossa nova rhythms, and each chapter is interspersed with multiple poems about liberation and life. The poems of love also have the five senses that go with the poem (the five senses of hearing, vision, smell, taste, and touch are all integrated, and they are all media leading to the heart. For example, when you see a picture, you hear music, and when you smell a taste, you feel a touch. etc.) pictures or paintings, as well as dismantled short stories with a sense of illusion. It can also be said that the progression of the scales or chord transitions of the bossa novali instrument is unpredictable. At first glance, you often think you can grasp the rise and fall of the melody and the rhythm, but you cannot catch it once the chords are converted! The literal meaning of bossa nova is "new rhythm". I originally chose bossa nova as the base for my creation because it is a new rhythm. I think it is different from other pure text poetry collections that combine other artistic elements. They are presented to readers together. Since the poems are interspersed with story lines, everyone will have a sense of déjà vu as if they were in a montage movie while listening to the poems! at last! Let me tell you that this poetry collection is not only in Chinese but also in German! Because it is a collection of poems that I created while studying in Austria in 2020. Although it was published in Austria and the main focus is German and Chinese, the translation was done after the creation.
