Very stylish frame and mat made to order. André Colpin is a Belgian artist born in Ixelles in 1939. He is a draftsman, graphic artist and painter. He finds his inspiration in lost corners, labyrinths, social life and everyday life. He created both personal works and engraved copies of works by other artists. In the 1980s he ran a graphic design initiation studio in Uccle and later also in the Sablon district of Brussels. He moved to Campsegre/France where as a painter he created landscapes, rural landscapes, still lifes, figures and interiors. The painting in great condition. No chips, cracks or crazings.
