This is a K10 necklace featuring a beautifully olive-green, rose-cut peridot. The 24 facets on the surface of the rose cut reflect light, creating a brilliant sparkle. Peridot is the birthstone for August.
The "VALOA" series uses the classic rose cut. The prongs that securely hold the stone are meticulously finished to taper to a fine point.
The combination of the prominent prongs, the classic colored stone, and the delicate chain creates a sophisticated aura for the modern woman.
The name "VALOA" was inspired by the twenty-four facets, arranged in a dome shape with combined triangles characteristic of the rose cut, representing "vingt-quatre" (twenty-four) in French and "nuovo" (new) in Italian. The combination of letters from the design and the evocative sound led to the name "VALOA."
The refined and gentle feminine image, combined with the unique and beautiful colored stone, adds a touch of sweetness and a calm bitterness, allowing you to enjoy various expressions.
Coordinate and layer with the rings, earrings, and necklaces from the same series.

<Peridot> (August Birthstone)
■Meaning: Marital love, happiness, harmony, hope, etc.
Its Japanese name is "Kanran-seki" (olivine), with a Mohs hardness of 6.5-7.0. While there are various theories about the origin of the name "peridot," the prevailing one suggests it comes from the Arabic word "faridat," meaning "gem." Peridot, the August birthstone, is called the "stone of the sun" and is believed to dispel negative emotions and worries, bringing a bright and positive mood.
Furthermore, as peridot is a gem with a brilliance as strong as the sun, it is said to ward off evil spirits and misfortune for the wearer. In ancient Europe, soldiers wore it as an amulet for protection in battle. In Japan, it is the gemstone for the second wedding anniversary, and many people gift peridot jewelry to celebrate this milestone.
