→ About the Artist Through a fortunate turn of events, Ms. Shu-Fen Shih relocated to Jingdezhen, the renowned "Porcelain Capital." In this city steeped in ceramics, she gradually developed a deep interest in this ancient art form. After connecting with several local masters, she decided to blend her own aesthetic sensibilities with Jingdezhen's exquisite craftsmanship. She might humbly demur if addressed as "master" directly, acknowledging the vastness and depth of the ceramic world, and her ongoing journey of learning. Yet, with each accumulated lesson and every process of kneading clay, rolling it into coils, and centering it on the wheel, she feels an abundance of experiences she wishes to share. We at NATURE GLAZE Studio aspire to be a platform, offering Ms. Shih's creations a chance to be discovered by you.
