These are marquetry earrings and clip-ons, a collaboration with Shokaka kiln from Hossho-ji ware.
They are made from materials that would not otherwise be used, salvaged from the kiln firing process.
Driven by a desire to cherish wood, we utilize timbers from demolished houses and construction site scraps, crafting them into geometric patterns that highlight the wood's natural texture.
The finish is achieved with a 100% natural wax blend of beeswax and plant-based oils.
Care Instructions
If the luster fades or scratches become noticeable, apply a plant-based oil such as olive oil or camellia oil, then wipe with a dry cloth to restore the sheen.
Wood Types: Crafted from available materials including cherry, chestnut, cypress, beech, oak, cedar, Mizume, and ebony.
Metal Findings: 14K gold-filled.
We offer complimentary exchanges for spring-loaded clip-ons.
*Please note that color tones and wood types may vary between pieces.
