Avoid applying leather oil directly to the leather to prevent uneven coloration. 2. Suede/Horsehair Leather: Do not wipe with water or a damp cloth, nor use leather oil, as this can damage the nap. Use a soft brush to gently brush along the grain. It is recommended to use a suede-specific waterproof spray before use. 3. Patent Leather: Gently wipe with a dry cloth or use a specialized patent leather wax. Note 1: It is normal for the leather color to deepen after applying leather oil; it will fade back to its original shade over time.
