Ōkunoshima, Japan, commonly known as Rabbit Island,
was once a base for manufacturing poison gas during wartime.
Introduced by humans, it has now become a gentle island teeming with rabbits.
These beautiful creatures can be encountered amidst the remains of military fortifications, on sandy beaches, and along forest paths.
Their vibrant vitality has not only revitalized the island but also soothed our hearts.
