#CowFernEmbroideryBadge
Inspired by the Butterfly Staghorn Fern, the creator imagined a cow encountering a butterfly, sparking an interspecies romance. In India, where Hinduism is widely practiced, cows are sacred animals, cherished like the plants we adore, each held as a precious gem.
This year marks the Lunar Year of the Ox, hence the fusion of these elements to represent this year's Staghorn Fern. It is a classic native variety with a single-bud growth habit. Its fronds are divided into two types: sporophylls and trophophylls. The sporophylls are broad, fan-shaped, and bifurcated, with deep venation, resembling unfolding butterfly wings. The trophophylls grow tall and often turn brown outside of the growing season. In terms of its staghorn fern shape, the overall impression is one of substantial presence.

- Listing Summary
- When viewed upside down, the Butterfly Staghorn Fern resembles a Cow Fern. Its unfurled fronds form the body of the cow, while the antler-like structures are its butterfly wings. During the dry season, the Cow Fern curls its "antlers" and turns brown, entering a dormant state.
