Workshop Description

Three-Stage Process: Fire, Knife, and Finishing with Coating Explanation of Safety Guidelines for Using Fire and Knives: Detailed instructions on the safe use of fire and knives. Using Fire to Char Wood: Burn the wood into charcoal pieces using fire. Material Preparation with Knives and Axes: Use knives and axes to prepare the material. Shaping the Kuksa: Place the red-hot charcoal onto the wood to burn out the concave surface of the container (Kuksa). Sawing the Shape: Use a saw to cut out the rough shape. Rough Shaping with a Hatchet: Use a hatchet to carve the general outline. Detailing with a Knife: Use a small knife to carve out finer details. = Final Sanding: Use sandpaper to finely smooth the surface. = Applying Natural, Non-Toxic Wood Finish: Apply natural shellac as a non-toxic protective coating for the wood.
