It retains the natural qualities of the material without excessive modification or processing, containing no chemical additives and causing no pollution, offering a fresh, natural, and pure essence. • Common marks include insect bites, growth lines, brands, and scars (holes). Scars (holes) are typically avoided in the crafting process. • Natural cowhide exhibits wrinkles and growth lines due to variations in the hide's origin. During growth, cattle may experience abrasions from other cattle or insect bites. Scars and insect marks are natural occurrences. • These characteristics are inherent to vegetable-tanned leather products and are part of their natural, unembellished charm. • We hope you will understand these material properties before purchasing and appreciate the captivating allure of untreated scars and color variations in vegetable-tanned leather. ♥ Usage and Care • Made from cowhide, the leather has pores that absorb oils and moisture from our hands. Over time and with use, it will develop a deeper, lustrous patina. • Use a clean brush to remove dust and dirt from the surface and crevices. Then, apply a leather conditioner evenly for maintenance (avoid oiling in humid weather).
